Competition Team

Plan on having rehearsals every Saturday and Sunday.

We could work some solos on Thursday and Friday nights.

It is very important that we get started on time and work as a group

Practices begin January 24 & 25

I need to know how many dances each individual is interested in doing. I suggest as many as possible. For the majority on the list that would be 3. A large group number, a ballet dance, and a tap number.

We will practice Jan 30^th & Feb 1^st

I will work around tryouts for Miss Mississippi Pageant

Regular practice Feb 7 & 8

February 14^th & 15^th

We will not practice the 15^th

I will be at DTU in Hattisburg; you are welcome to come with me

Starpower in Baton Rouge Feb. 13^th –15^th

If any of my solo’s are interested in trying for Power Pak this is the closest it comes to us. Groups will not be ready.

I would like to go and take classes. I do not think groups will be ready yet

March 8^th –12 is Spring Break

We may practice every day during spring break depending on how they look

We might take Sun, Mon, Tues, & Wed off but we will definitely work Thurs,

Fri, Sat, and Sun.

This competition has a mini-convention with it. This Convention is not mandatory, however, students are selected from the convention to be in their opening number at nationals.  Convention Fee $65

April 24^th & 25^th  Regular Practice

Unless we are having some real problems or need to make some major changes we will not practice most of May. We will be practicing our competition  dances during the week for recital. Recital is planned for May 22^nd

Nationals

We will only attend one National and only if we do well at regionals.
The fees for Nationals will be a little higher.

We normally practice the Thursday before the competition. Just a run through of all the dances with the parents here and a last minute chance for everyone to ask questions and learn their numbers and such.
