Summer 2009
June 19th Note

I want to encourage everyone to come to Toney Neumann's workshop next week.
Monday June 22nd - June 27th

Everyone knows Toney is a wonderful teacher and his workshops are so different from my camps. You will do ballet in the morning with lots of combinations and across the floor work, and Toney's special style of Jazz in the afternoon. Toney has been teaching workshops at my studio for 15 years. He is responsible for increasing the technical level of my students tremendously. I have never had a student take from Toney that did not improve.

The price for this workshop is $125.00 for the week. Don't forget there is a short informal show on Saturday morning.

As usual we would love to have you for the entire time, however if you can only come to part that will be fine and we will adjust the fee. I know my Gator Girls have practice Tuesday and Thursday mornings and will miss those times, but be here for everything else. My students in summer school can only come in the afternoon. My students in Fairy Tales will leave early for practice. This is such a educational and fun workshop that I really feel my older, more advanced dancers would improve so much from this workshop and that they should come to as much as they can even if they can only make one class. That would be better than not coming at all.

If you would like to bring a friend from another studio, please feel free. It's just a workshop and can only benefit everyone.

I have hired Amelia Brame to also teach a class in the afternoon. She has recently graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with a degree in dance. She is here for the summer with her husband who is working at Waterways. She will teach Modern on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday she will teach World Dance. I'm not sure what time her class will be. I was thinking 3:30 to 5:00.

Hope to see you Monday
Miss Debra
