Overview
A fun weekend filled with fresh ideas in ballet, hip - hop,
tap and jazz. Classes are all day Saturday October 20 and a half day
Sunday October 21 in Columbia Louisiana. With a National renowned
Jazz teacher and some of the best Tap, Hip - Hop and Ballet
instructors. You don’t want to miss out on this ultimate dance
experience in our area. The first 100 students accepted. Limited
space available.

Joe
Istre —
Jazz
Joe Istre’s cutting-edge, stylized movement and unique
approach to teaching combined with his understanding of the art,
keep him in demand nationwide. His performing credits include 42st.,
Chess, Contact, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, to name a
few. He assisted with London’s West End production of Hot Mikado,
the Tony nominated Broadway show Ain’t Broadway Grand, and the
German version of Beauty and the Beast. Choreography credits include
shows for HBO, Midas Muffler. Istre taught at the International
Ballet Festival in Jackson MS and his piece Come Together was chosen
and placed on the National Arts Choreography Plan. Joe was also
chosen as one of the finalist in the Leo’s Jazz Dance competition.
Joe teaches at universities, conventions, and schools around the
country.

Tap &
Lyrical
Ragan began studying dance at the age of 7 in Houston and
then in Hammond, La She won a scholarship to the Miami Dance
Festival. From 2001-2005, Ragan was a LSU Golden Girl & was
choreographer her Sr. year. She was member of the Cangelosi Dance
project. She now teaches for dance teams & studios & her
choreography has won many awards

Ballet
On staff at Linda Lavender School of Dance in Monroe/West
Monroe and Debra Franco School of Dance in Vicksburg. She’s a former
member of Twin City Ballet.
Tonesha Whittington —
Hip -
Hop
On Staff at Miss Tommie’s School of Dance. She is the dance
team coach for FPHS Sparkers and Franklin Academy Varsity dance
team. Tonesha was a member of the ULM Warbonnets and Little Indian
Pom team |
