I need parents to help

Please sign up so I can stay a little organized

I need parents in the dressing room to help control the children and help them change costumes and hang their costumes up. You can do this one-day and let someone else do it a different day so that you can watch the show. Please understand I need you to help with all the children not just your child. I need people who don't mind asking other people's children to be quiet. I don't need too many people, or people wandering in and out of the dressing room. If you know of someone unrelated that would like to help that would be great, or perhaps a teenager that needs service points.

I need Daddies and any one else, to help move scenery and put the Christmas trees and scenery together. Thursday after 5:30 we will move everything to the auditorium and hang backdrops and set up the scenery. Some of this is heavy work but a lot of it is easy: Just time consuming and has to be done. The theatre is keeping up with our hours so the more people we have helping the faster we will get finished.

I need people to mend costumes. This can be done while you are sitting waiting. If you can help just let me know and I'll hand you a costume.

I need some headpieces if I have any artsy crafty folks.

There is a list up for food for the cast party. Please sign up to bring something. Lori Burke is in charge; please offer to help her. We don't want everyone bringing the same thing. Last year the theater charged me for using their paper plates; let's be more organized and careful.

Stacey Teller has agreed to be in charge of the lobby. I'm sure she will need lots of help and decorations. Usually Miss Calnan helps so much and we won't have her this year. We need moms of younger children to step up and learn the ropes.

Terri Booth is in charge of cleaning the theater before and after. We have to have everything out immediately after the show and cleaned spotless.

This Wednesday I need parents to fluff Christmas Trees. Thursday I need people to iron costumes. Both jobs need to be done here at the studio. I also need newspaper wadded up. You can do this anywhere anytime. I need it at the theater Thursday.

I hope I haven't forgotten anything. And let's not forget about Nursing Homes in the middle of all this mayhem.

Thank you for all your help. I think we're going to have a great show.

I love your children. They are working so hard

Thank you,
Miss Debra
