MOSCOW BALLET COSTUME INFORMATION

All costumes are provided by Moscow Ballet. However, each child must provide their own performance tights, ballet slippers, point shoes, a light colored leotard (to wear under their costume, unless otherwise specified), a warm up suit or bathrobe or sweat suit, hair supplies, tissues and makeup. See below for details on make up.

TIGHTS AND BALLET SLIPPERS

Party Guests:

·    Girls: Pink tights, pink slippers, short sleeve or camisole leotard.

·    Boys: White tights, white slippers.

·    Hair: Pulled back at sides, down at back, curled if possible, bangs are acceptable.

Little Snowflakes:

·    Pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a bun (this will support a headpiece).

Mice:

·    Black ballet slippers, black tights.

·    Black leotard, long or short sleeve. This costume is a long sleeve jacket plus tights and a mouse head piece.

·    Place head piece on first to determine height of bun or twist.

Angels:

·    Pink tights, slippers, tank top, and camisole leotard. Hair is low bun.

Butterflies:

·    Pink tights, slippers, Pointe (beige or pink camisole leotards are okay, hair is low bun

ACT II:

·    Little Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and French (depending on your city sometimes Arabians) will wear: pink tights and slippers (girls) white tights and slippers (boys). All of these children must wear beige leotards only because the costume has a short vest and may expose the tummy area. Hair: Try the head piece on first to determine height of bun or twist.

·    Older Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Arabian same as the little ones, but the hair is a high bun.
