October Note to Parents

If tuition checks are being written, by someone who has a different last name than the students, please put the students name on the check. I have a check from a Frederick Navarro, that I do not know whose account to credit. We also have unrelated students with the same last name.

Could everyone give me his or her e-mail addresses? I can e-mail some of the notes that might not otherwise get home. I have a few addresses that are not working for me.

Please check our lost and found it’s really growing. Please put your name in items that might be left, especially dance shoes and tights.

If you have not received your recital video please ask me for them. I have them. We may need a few more. I can’t tell, so please let me know, if you have not received your copy. I also have the composite pictures. I give them to the student mark them off the list, and then they leave them here. Please ask for them.

I could use some student assistants; if any one is interested let me know. Must be about 6th grade or older. I could use help with the early classes that start at 3:30 Tues., Wed., & Thursday, especially Thursday.

My Thursday 3:30 class will continue till 4:45 from now on. That means this class will now cost $39 a month. $36 if paid before the 7th of the month. This also means that my 4th grade class that has been starting at 4:30 will not start till 4:45 and will finish at 6:15.

The Pre-toe class has expressed an interest in purchasing Thera-Band exercise bands. I have some that I am willing to sell for $1.50 a foot. I would think 2 feet would be the very least they might need. I have old ones setting out, that they may use.

Nutcracker

Act I Angels are usually my 3 & 4 year olds. They only follow the leader. If I have a good leader all goes well. If I have a bad leader I think the audience likes it better. If your 3 or 4 year old would like to be an Act I Angel please let me know. They will not have any rehearsals until November. There is not a rehearsal fee for Act I Angels. They do need pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and a pastel leotard to be worn under their costume. Their hair is worn down and curly.

I am in need of boys and parents to be in party scene. There is no fee. Rehearses with boy will begin Saturday October 26th. Rehearsals with adults will begin in November. At this time we are looking at all rehearsals being on Saturday. Boys do not do any actual dancing. Costumes are very simple. Please encourage your children and ask a friend.
