2009 Recital Preparation

• Attention!!
  We will be painting backdrops:
  Saturday Night May 16th at 5:30
  Monday Night May 18th at 7:30
  Tuesday Night May 19th at 7:15
  Wednesday May 20th at 7:15
  WE NEED YOU AND YOUR CHILD. The dancers love to help paint but need your help. This will assist with speed and skill. There is a total of five backdrops planned, to achieve this we need to complete one each evening. If we do not have the manpower to complete these, the one unfinished may be your child's!

• Please be on time for rehearsal. I cut the time a little shorter so please be here so we can get started. That means ready to dance on time not just in the dressing room. We have very little parking; please take the traffic into consideration. Leave early to get here before time. Please do not send the girls in ratty holy tights. Please put hair up in bun for rehearsal all 5th grade and up. Not just up, up in a bun. Hairnets and pins.
  All fees must be paid before costumes go home
  Some people have overpaid. I am returning these checks and asking you to pay the exact amount.
  We are working on T shirts.

  The younger group of hip hoppers wear pajamas. The middle age group wear red scrubs from the outlet mall about $17 a pair. If they have to order them, it will take 2 weeks so do it now. Older girls will be different and discussed in class.

• Notice about recital preparations:
  We have 2 weeks of regular dance left. I'm so excited! Please try to be here for these two weeks.
  We have a lot of staging to do and can not do it without everyone here.
  Don't forget 11 missed classes is out limit. Some of you are very close. Please come to class. I would hate for you to miss being in the recital.
  I need my Monday 6:00 class and my Tuesday 8:00 class to combine for tap. I need both groups here Monday from 7:00-8:00 and Tuesday from 8:00-9:00.
  We will not have class this Friday April 24th , however we will make that class up on Sunday April 26th.
  My 1:00 class will come at 2:00-3:00
  My 3:45 class will come at 3:00-4:30
  My 5:00 class will come at 4:30-6:00
  My 6:30 class will come at 6:00-7:30
  And my advanced class will come 7:30-9:30
  Any class still having major problems be prepared to work that 1st weekend in May before rehearsals begin.
  Don't forget rehearsals begin Monday May 4th. I need lots of older students to help with the younger ones.
