Summer Dance Camps

To the best of my ability the only free week I can find in the summer for a Dance Camp for older students would be the week starting June 30 and ending 4th of July.

I’m assuming they left this week free because of the 4th of July. What do ya’ll think of a camp this week? Would any one come? We could possibly start on Sunday afternoon and only go thru Thursday. We could possible do two week and continue the next week July 7th –12th. Most places offer a two camp and end with a small performance.
Similar to what we do with Toney.

The only conflict I see the second week is Gator Girl camp and I think that only affects Raisa but I’m not sure. We go to San Antoine the next week so we need to be working on our dances July 11th – 15th or somewhere near then depending on when we are leaving.

I would like to do my younger students June 9th-13th.
Possibly the week before that also.

Ya’ll give me some feed back.

This is what I think the summer looks like.

I don’t have dates for St. Al Band Camp yet.

I do have date for a few more things but I don’t think they effect but one person and it has me a little over whelmed already.

I would appreciate all the input I can get at this time. And of course I will need to see if I can get teachers for this time period.

We had originally talked about learning our competition pieces at this time for next year. But honestly I’m burned out and I worry about starting new pieces before we go to Nationals.

I would like to encourage all serious students to take at least one other workshop besides mine. I know Applause had a good workshop last year but I have not checked into it. Ballet Mag also has a good workshop.
