Summer Dance
Our summer dance program offers two separate and distinct curriculums. We have a DanceCamp for every age group and we have Regular classes for Intermediate and Advanced students. I suggest that Intermediate students do both and that advanced students take a workshop taught by someone other than our regular staff.
DanceCamp is designed for children at every level of dance education, from those with little or no training to those who have trained for many years. In addition to technique classes in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, students will study famous classical Ballets. They will learn valuable lessons about anatomy, health and nutrition, dance history and other areas involved in dance. They will explore their own creativity through exercises in pantomime and dramatic interpretation. These are valuable classes that we can only offer during the summer because of the time restraints.
