August Welcome Bulletin Parents and Students, Welcome. It’s so great to see so many familiar faces and so many new ones too. I’m trying hard to learn everyone. We’ve been back in class for two weeks and things are shaping up nicely. I know it’s going to be another exciting year. Already we have had a group perform at St Al, at a charity benefit. They did great. I was very proud. And we’ve had Nutcracker Auditions. They did great, too. September looks just as full. Summer classes went well. I saw some major improvements. That extra work always pays off. It was very noticeable, in our Auditions for Jazz Class placement and for Nutcracker, who had worked all summer. Congratulations. I had two major events this summer, The International Ballet Competition and Nationals in Orlando. Both were great fun and very educational. Molleigh and I both had an experience of a lifetime at IBC. She met some really famous dancers and made a lot of new friends. She learned as much living in the dorm as she did from taking class. And Orlando was so much fun, even if I was to chicken to go on ANY Roller Coasters. Oh yes and the kids danced wonderfully. I can’t believe how well they did for their first nationals. A few Reminders
